Synopsis:

A series of murder occurred during the reign of King Sejong. As Chae Yun who is investigating these cases gets closer to the root of the truth, he finds himself emboiled in a massive conspiracy behind the serial killings which involves a group of genius who are willing to risked their lives towards their cause/goals and secret powers who will interfere with the course of his investigations

The writing pair of Kim Young-hyun and Park Sang-yeon were behind one of the biggest dramas of the past year, Queen Seon-deok, so interest is high to see if they can replicate that success in their new series, A Tree With Deep Roots [뿌리깊은 나무].
