synopsis “49 Days” –Episode 9
Episode 9 written preview:
Seeing Yi Kyung in the house of his friend's fiance after firing her from his shop and telling her not to show up anymore, Kang throws into a rage. at HK's birthday party at his shop, IJ... meeting YK at MH's house is a secret? (not sure?)

meanwhile, JH's dad decides to write a will passing on the company to MH in the future!
Han Kang cannot stand the thought of Ji Kyung working at the residence of his friend’s fiancée, and he asks again that Ji Kyung come back to work at the restaurant. Ji Kyung sees Kang’s behavior, and she suddenly can feel the tender emotion he has developed for her. In Jung has come to Kang’s restaurant for his birthday party. She asks that her visit to Min Ho’s apartment, and running into Ji Kyung there, be kept a secret. But Ji Kyung reveals that In Jung is dating Min Ho. On the otherhand, in front of Min Ho, Ji Hyun’s dad decides to write down a will regarding the succession of the company.

Because of her absence without permission, Yi-Kyung is dismissed from the convenience store. Her rhythm of life broken, YK begins to suffer from insomnia. Sitting against the wall watching this, Ji-Hyun decides to take up the job at Min-Ho’s home.
YK is exhausted and falls asleep. Since she can only enter YK’s body when she is asleep, JH feels she is a burden to YK. JH is curious about YK’s past and is rummaging through a box when YK suddenly wakes up. YK seems disturbed and decides to commit suicide again. JH is freaked out and summons the Scheduler in a panic …..

Episode 6 “49 Days” – ratings
When Wed./Thu. dramas are sliding in the ratings generally, “49 Days” is bucking the trend and has risen to the No.2 spot in the same time slot.
According to statistics released by ratings agency on April 1, the March 31 episode of “49 Days” has a 10.6% rating nationwide, a rise of 0.5% from the previous episode (10.1%). With this, “49 Days” has broken its own record and ascended to the No.2 spot previously held by “Thorn Birds”.
Ratings for the other 2 dramas in the same time slot are: MBC’s “Royal Family” – 13.7% and KBS’s “Thorn Birds” – 9.6%.
In Episode 6 Han Kang sees more and more of Ji-Hyun in Yi-Kyung. HK who has been in great pain since JH’s accident is very surprised to see YK performing a magic trick to cheer up a child because this is the magic trick that JH showed him in high school. So he goes to the hospital to see JH again. On the other hand, he fires YK after seeing her coming to work in Min-Ho’s car.

Episode 5 “49 Days” – ratings
Statistics released by ratings agency indicate that Episode 5 of “49 Days” broadcast on March 30 had a nationwide rating of 10.1%, a drop of 0.2% from the previous episode last week. Even though it manages to retain double digits, it is still ranked last of the Wed./Thu. dramas in the same time slot.
Ratings for MBC’s “Royal Family” is 14% and for KBS’s “Thorn Birds” is 10.5% for the same night.
The March 30 episode of “49 Days” shows Min-Ho (BSB) plotting to sell Ji-Hyun’s (NGR) land in order to pursue his ambitions. When she discovers this conspiracy, JH (in Yi-Kyung’s body) manages to retrieve her seal from her room.
Min-Ho makes up a story to tell Ji-Hyun’s father that when JH found out she gave MH her lipstick instead of her seal, she was on her way to give him the real thing when she met with the accident. MH insists everything he does is for JH. His series of lies betray his ambition.

Baffled by certain things that Yi-Hyung and Han Kang said, Min-Ho comes to HK’s office and sees YK again.
YK comes and goes like a friend, which confuses HK because she keeps reminding him of JH. MH is also rattled and getting suspicious. Then HK sees YK coming out of MH’s car and fires her in anger and throws her out…..

JIW {Jung Il-Woo} on 49Day's OST
Jung Il-Woo singing one of the songs on the “49 Days” OST has attracted a lot of attention.
In the SBS drama “49 Days”, JIW who plays the Scheduler has contributed one of the tracks on the OST. This is the first time JIW has displayed his singing ability since the launch of his acting career. His song is titled “Scarecrow” and depicts one’s sorrow at watching helplessly one’s beloved. The poetic lyrics and JIW’s feelings combine to create an aura of fantasy and warmth.
In order to sing this song, JIW took a few weeks off from his busy schedule to receive singing lessons and to make himself available at all times which shows the importance he attaches to the OST. Kim Won who writes and produces the song says: “During the first recording session, JIW’s performance was not too good which had me very worried. But he tried very hard and his resolve was strong, so he improved tremendously. Moreover, he’s an actor so he very easily fell into the mood of the song and managed to convey its emotions.”
After the recording JIW also participated in the editing with the production crew, which showed his enthusiasm. As a matter of fact, JIW also displayed his singing ability in the 2009 KBS drama “Take care of the young lady”, but there he only sang part of a song. Recording of JIW’s song is complete, and on March 31 he will sing this song, accompanied by playing the guitar. This song will be played every time the Scheduler appears, so viewers will be hearing it a lot.
