“Dream High”, “Athena”, and “Win Win” will not air new episodes on January 25th

It looks like drama fans will be fairly disappointed, as two of Korea’s hottest dramas have revealed that they won’t be able to air a new episode tonight.

We’ve already reported that “Athena” won’t be able to broadcast a new episode due to actor Jung Woo Sung’s injury. As for “Dream High,” the high school teen drama will be replaced by the airing of the 2011 AFC Asian Cup semi-final clash between South Korea and Japan on January 25th.

The usual broadcast of the variety program “Win Win” will also be affected tonight.

Considering how “Athena”, “Dream High”, and “Queen of Reversals” are all equally popular for their time-slot, it could be an ample opportunity for “Queen of Reversals” to take the lead in viewership ratings tonight. “Dream High” scored a 15.9% rating on January 24th to cement the #1 spot while “Athena” achieved 14.8%, and “Queen of Reversals” nabbed 15.2%.

[Spoiler: Dream High] episode 07

In an upcoming episode of KBS 2TV’s “Dream High,” Taecyeon and Eunjung will be showing off an impressive duet performance for their school’s showcase.Producers of the drama revealed, “The duet performance of Jin Guk’s impressive rapping and dancing mixed with Baek Hee’s sexy dancing and singing will become one of the most memorable scenes of ‘Dream High.‘”The stage where the showcase took place was described to be as impressive as a real life show stage that adequately brought out the sexy charms of the two performers. The extras that were brought in to play the role of the audience all exclaimed that they applauded the performance out of sheer awe and genuine interest.Jin Guk isn’t originally supposed to be allowed to perform at the showcase, as he’s currently still considered entrance class, and the fact that he performed with Baek Hee and not Hyemi has also been bringing out further curiosity from fans of the drama.Stay tuned for the full scene reveal and the answers in the coming week.
